• Rental Deposit & Final Payment:

A 50% Deposit is due within 7 days of a confirmed reservation and can be made by Bank Transfer or Credit Card via Paypal. The balance is due 45 days prior to arrival. For reservations made within 45 days of arrival, full payment is required. If payment is not received as requested the reservation will be cancelled.

• A security deposit

of $400 is required on check-in. This can either be made in cash or in the form of an authorization to charge your credit card in the event of damages. The deposit is fully refundable on checkout if no damages occur. Please note that charges for damage will not be limited to $400 and the renter will be liable for anything that exceeds that amount.

• Cancellation Policy:

For Cancellations made up to and including 30 days in advance of arrival there will be a full refund minus a 15% administrative charge based on the full contracted rental price. For Cancellations made up to and including 20 days before arrival there will be a refund of 50% of the full contracted rental price. Cancellations made less than 20 days prior to arrival, no refund will be given.

In regard to cancellations made for Cookery Courses: 20 days is required for cancellations. The course fees are non-refundable but a class may be rescheduled or the enrollment transferred.

A cancellation made within 20 days of the class date will not receive a refund unless the space is resold. If the space is sold then it will be permitted to reschedule a class. This policy will be strictly enforced due to the financial loss of a late cancellation no matter what the circumstance or emergency situation.

• No Shows

No refund given.

• Packages

are only valid for the Green Season 1st May – 15th December. Any additional nights accommodation will be charged at Green Season Rates.

• Package Itineries & Excursions:

Villas De Las Aves & The Chef’s Table Culinary School reserve the right to make any itinerary changes that they deem necessary when conditions warrant, such as but not limited to adverse weather.

Cookery Classes may occasionally be cancelled or rescheduled. If this is the case you will received advanced warning and you may reschedule your class, transfer your enrollment or receive a full refund.

Example Menus given in the course schedules maybe changed depending on seasonal produce and availablility.

• Maximum Occupancy

for Villa Paloma is 2 persons, & benefits are based on 2 persons per room.

for Villa Colibri is 4 persons, & benefits are based on 4 persons per room.

for The Parrot Haven is 2 persons, & benefits are based on 2 persons per room.

• Benefits/Services

are NOT exchangeable for cash or discounts or other services.

• Children:

Villas De Las Aves does welcome children but please be aware that we have no safety features around Jacuzzis & the river is very close by. We do not accept responsibility for your children and do expect children to be supervised.

• Insurance:

Villas De Las Aves, The Chef’s Table Restaurant & The Chefs Table Culinary School are not liable or responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property or any injuries or accidents that may occur. All excursions & Tours are taken at the guest’s own risk. It is advised that you take out a travel insurance to guard against unforeseen occurrences, delays, medical emergencies and other incidents that might transpire including natural disasters or world events.
